In 2009, Argus presented The Argus Leadership Series, an educational forum designed to bring top executives in front of clients and partners. The series was moderated by Argus CEO, Rob Taylor and focused on The New Normal in a Changing Economy.
HR COLLABORATION LAB
The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business is partnering with Argus Benefits to develop an idea laboratory for Executive Human Resource decision makers in Metro Atlanta. Work has already begun for an April 2010 launch of the Executive HR Collaboration Lab, with select thought leaders working together to support and sustain the principles and processes of Transformational HR for human resource executives in the region. .

The basic tenet of the Executive HR Collaboration Lab is to provide a safe environment for Atlanta’s senior HR decision-makers to test ideas, concepts, practices, processes and systems which drive business results for their organizations. This think-tank approach to developing and delivering best of breed solutions is particularly important in a stressed economy, as it offers small to mid-sized companies access to transformative programs and tools which can help them push their HR organizations from a position of compliance and transaction to one which provides strategic support and direction for the Atlanta business community.
At Argus, we believe in giving back to the community. Through the efforts of our employees, we champion those organizations that count on us to support their efforts to contribute to the greater good.
The LET US PLAY! Sports Camp motivates socially and economically disadvantaged girls (ages 12-15), to take advantage of the life-long benefits associated with both sports and education. The camp was the vision of Argus' Managing Partner Bryan Barker and his wife Leah. Bryan is a 16-year veteran of the National Football League. In just four months, 150 girls attendied the inaugural camp held at the University of North Florida. Today, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers and the Oakland Raiders are members of the LET US PLAY! family. View Site
In 2001, Resurgens Charitable Foundation began raising funds to build specially designed "all abilities" playgrounds for children in the Atlanta area. The Foundation was formed with a fund raising effort in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11th. With the help of the company's physicians and employees, Resurgens raised over $12,000.00 for the American Red Cross. To date, the foundation has been responsible for seven "all abilities" playgrounds. Through the Foundation's commitment to disadvantaged children, it is also heavily involved with The Metro Atlanta Miracle League, Camp Collingswood and BLAZE Sports. View Site
